Dudley Allen (DA) Juneteenth Golf Tournament

Allen Hydro Energy Corporation (AHEC) Founder & CEO is proposing the creation and launch of a National Black Professional Golf Tournament the week leading up to the Juneteenth National Holiday. Charles E. Campbell-Allen, a native of the Mississippi Delta and a graduate of Jackson State University, plans to use the Memorial Tournament model created by Golf Legion Jack Nicklaus, to be held annually in either Jackson, Mississippi, or Memphis, Tennessee, for professional Black African American men and women golfers competing together.

Each player’s $20,000 fee will be sponsored by a Black African American National Organizations, Institutions, Corporations or wealthy Black African American.

Launched the week leading to the Juneteenth Holiday Weekend in 2026, the “Dudley Allen (DA) Juneteenth Tournament” will offer a minimum prize of $1,000,000 and a Black Power Trophy to the winner. Mr. Dudley Allen was born in Edward, MS, in 1917 to Lonzo and Lena Allen and died in Tutwiler, MS, in 1995. His first and last initials represent the “DA” in the tournament’s name and will honor his late father as part of this annual Father’s Day Celebration.
